 ABOUT THE ROLE


We are looking for a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to lead new client acquisition

and contribute to long-term revenue growth. This role is primarily focused on identifying, pursuing, and

closing new business opportunities while also supporting the expansion of existing relationships.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong commercial mindset, someone who can navigate

complex sales cycles, build credibility with senior stakeholders, and consistently deliver against targets.

You bring a consultative approach to selling and thrive in a fast-paced, solution-oriented environment.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Business Development (Hunting)

 Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target markets.

 Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through outreach, networking, and referrals.

 Lead client discussions, presentations, and proposals in collaboration with internal teams.

 Own the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to closure.

 Achieve new business revenue targets.

2. Account Management & Growth (Farming)

 Manage and grow existing client accounts, ensuring satisfaction and retention.

 Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.

 Identify and drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

 Own account expansion and revenue growth targets.

3. Revenue & Collaboration

 Own overall revenue (new business + existing accounts).

 Work closely with delivery and internal teams to ensure seamless execution.

 Track pipeline, account performance, and maintain CRM hygiene.

 Provide market insights and contribute to growth strategy.


REQUIREMENTS

 3 - 8 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or a related client-facing role.

 Demonstrated ability to generate leads, manage pipelines, close deals, and grow existing

client accounts.

 Proven experience in managing client relationships, driving retention, and identifying

upsell/cross-sell opportunities.

 Prior experience in IT services, digital commerce, SaaS, or a related technology-driven industry is

strongly preferred.

 Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage confidently

with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.

 Ability to own client relationships end-to-end, from acquisition through ongoing account growth

and satisfaction.

 Commercially oriented mindset with a structured approach to pipeline management, account

planning, and revenue forecasting.

 Working knowledge of CRM platforms (HubSpot or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
