Solution Consultant(3-5years)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Digital Solutioning Analyst to support and execute key activities within Codilar's presales and solutioning function. This role is well suited for someone who is building expertise in digital commerce, has a strong analytical mindset, and is eager to grow into a full-spectrum solutioning professional.

You will work closely with senior solutioning and sales team members, assisting in requirement analysis, solution documentation, research, and deal support activities. Over time, you will take on increasing ownership of solutioning deliverables and client-facing engagements as your domain knowledge and confidence develop.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.  Requirement Analysis & Clarification

  • Support structured requirement-gathering sessions with clients, capturing and documenting business goals, functional needs, and technical constraints.
  • Assist in preparing solution briefs, scoping notes, BRDs, FRDs, and pricing summaries in collaboration with senior team members.
  • Help ensure that documented requirements are accurate, complete, and clearly understood before solution design begins.

2.  Solution Architecture Support

  • Assist in designing and documenting solution architectures, including platform recommendations, integration maps, and technology stack outlines.
  • Support senior solutioning experts in conducting platform audits and evaluating technical fit for client requirements.
  • Research and document third-party integrations, ecosystem tools, and ancillary solutions relevant to client needs.
  • Contribute to delivering solution design outputs within defined turnaround timelines.

3.  Solutioning Library Maintenance

  • Maintain and update the internal solutioning library with new solution components, templates, case studies, and reference architectures.
  • Organize and tag library content to ensure easy retrieval and reuse across the growth and presales teams.
  • Proactively identify gaps in existing documentation and flag opportunities to strengthen the knowledge base.

4.  Client Pitch Support

  • Assist in the preparation of client pitch decks, solution presentations, and supporting materials.
  • Support the solutioning lead in structuring the technical narrative and ensuring accuracy of solution content within pitches.
  • Coordinate internally to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and ensure pitch materials are delivered on time and to a high standard.

5.  End-to-End Deal Documentation

  • Own the preparation and accuracy of all deal documentation including Estimations, Final Pitches, MSAs, SOWs, Addendums, Work Breakdown Structures, and Team Matrices.
  • Ensure documentation is commercially sound and fully aligned with agreed scope prior to deal closure.
  • Track Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV) as a key outcome metric for assessing deal quality and solution fit.

6.  Research & Market Intelligence

  • Conduct research on prospective client profiles including their business model, competitive landscape, target market, and technology usage.
  • Track and document emerging commerce technologies, platform updates, and ecosystem partner developments relevant to Codilar's offerings.
  • Summarize research findings in a structured format to support solutioning and pitch preparation activities.

7.  GTM Engineering

  • Develop and maintain a structured Target Client List, conducting acquisition audits to assess fit and prioritize outreach.
  • Support go-to-market efforts by engineering targeted solutioning approaches for specific verticals, geographies, or client segments.
  • Deliver a minimum of four GTM engineering outputs per month in collaboration with the sales team.

8.  Competition Mapping

  • Research and document the competitive landscape including digital commerce agencies, platform vendors, and solution providers.
  • Assist in developing Right-to-Win narratives and competitive differentiation points to strengthen Codilar's positioning.
  • Support the preparation of regular competition mapping outputs to keep the sales and solutioning teams well-informed.

9.  Reporting & MIS

  • Maintain up-to-date CRM records and MIS logs reflecting solutioning activities, interactions, and pipeline status.
  • Assist in preparing monthly reports covering KPI tracking, activity summaries, challenges, and observations.
  • Support the solutioning lead in identifying patterns, improvements, and recommended actions based on reporting data.


REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in presales, solution consulting, business analysis, or a related client-facing role in a technology or digital commerce environment.
  • Hands-on experience with ecommerce platforms such as Adobe Commerce (Magento), Shopify, Shopify Plus, Pimcore, or Fluent Commerce.
  • Ability to understand and document business and technical requirements, and translate them into structured solution briefs or proposals.
  • Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal teams and engage with clients professionally.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with an eye for detail and a structured approach to documentation.
  • Familiarity with deal documentation formats such as SOWs, MSAs, and WBS is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of CRM tools, MIS reporting, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
