Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workfront / Workfront Fusion Architect with 10+ years of professional experience in enterprise workflow automation, solution architecture, and integration design. The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic technical leader responsible for architecting, designing, implementing, and optimizing Workfront Fusion and Workfront Core solutions for enterprise customers.

This role requires deep expertise in Workfront Fusion scenario design, API-driven integrations, and scalable work management architectures. The Architect will guide clients through discovery, solution blueprinting, platform governance, and adoption, ensuring successful delivery and long-term value realization. A consultative mindset, strong communication skills, and hands-on implementation ability are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Design & Solution Strategy

  • Lead end-to-end architecture design for Workfront and Workfront Fusion implementations.
  • Translate complex business processes into scalable, secure, and efficient Workfront/Fusion-based solutions.
  • Develop technical reference architectures, integration frameworks, and governance models.
  • Evaluate system landscapes and define integration patterns using APIs, data flows, and automation workflows.

Implementation & Technical Leadership

  • Oversee and guide the implementation of Workfront Fusion scenarios—modules, data mapping, routers, custom logic, and error handling.
  • Provide hands-on development support for complex integrations, data transformations, and orchestration workflows.
  • Review technical designs, ensure best practices, and own technical quality across all project phases.
  • Work closely with developers, consultants, and client teams to ensure delivery alignment with architecture.

Client Consulting & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Conduct business process assessments, discovery workshops, and solution validation sessions.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to optimize work management processes and enhance platform adoption.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, offering guidance on roadmap planning, scaling, and enterprise governance.

Optimization, Adoption & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive adoption strategies and ensure alignment with client goals, KPIs, and transformation plans.
  • Optimize existing Workfront/Fusion implementations to improve performance, reliability, and usability.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and operational efficiency.

Documentation & Enablement

  • Produce architectural diagrams, design specifications, integration documents, and governance guidelines.
  • Mentor and coach teams on Workfront/Fusion technical capabilities and best practices.
  • Support training, knowledge transfer, and internal capability development.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in enterprise solution architecture, workflow automation, or integration platforms.

  • Strong, demonstrable expertise with Workfront Fusion, Workfront Core configuration, and scenario architecture.
  • Comprehensive understanding of REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, OAuth, data modeling, and integration frameworks.
  • Experience architecting large-scale, multi-system integrations in enterprise environments.
  • Excellent ability to translate business processes and requirements into robust technical designs.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience guiding teams through solution delivery and technical execution.
  • Exceptional communication, client engagement, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Adobe Workfront / Workfront Fusion Certifications (or willingness to obtain).
  • Experience with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Jira, MS Teams, Slack, Adobe Experience Cloud, etc.
  • Background in Agile delivery methodologies and enterprise PMO environments.
  • Experience defining architectural standards, governance models, and reusable integration patterns.
