Business Development Manager - India

Job Description:


Codilar Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development

Manager to join our team from anywhere in India. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of

experience in sales, specifically within the digital commerce or IT services sector. This role

demands a strategic thinker with strong sales acumen, exceptional communication skills, and a

proven track record of exceeding sales targets.



Key Responsibilities:


● Drive business development initiatives by identifying and pursuing new sales

​    opportunities. Focus on expanding the client base and generating new business.

● Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their

​    business needs and presenting suitable solutions.

● Utilize your previous expertise and experience in the realm of enterprise Ecommerce sales.

● Proactively engage in sales hunting by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities,

​     nurturing leads, and effectively closing deals to consistently meet or exceed sales

​    targets.


● Maintain consistent follow-up with potential clients to move them through the sales

​    pipeline and ensure a high conversion rate.

● Conduct effective product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients,

​    showcasing the value and benefits of our solutions

● Work smartly to identify the best approaches to create accurate proposals, estimations,

​    and statements of work (SOW).

● Lead the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.Develop and deliver

​    compelling presentations and proposals.

● Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the Sales Head, ensuring transparency

​    and accountability.

● Attend relevant industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent Codilar

​   Technologies, network with potential clients, partners, and industry influencers, and

​   share valuable insights and leads with the internal team.


Qualifications:


● 8+ years of experience in sales, with a strong focus on business development and sales

​   hunting.

● Minimum 2 years of international sales experience in similar software services in US,

​    South East Asia or Middle East

● Good knowledge in B2C/B2B e-commerce solutions, platforms, ecommerce features and

    ​allied web development services

● Experience in Magento or similar services sales is a strong advantage

● Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

● Crafting persuasive, customized sales proposals.

● Thorough review of Statements of Work for alignment.

● Strong ability to understand client needs and present appropriate solutions.

● Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
