Odoo developer

We are hiring Odoo Developer ( 3–6 months of internship/hands-on experience) to join our engineering team at our Calicut office. This role is suited for candidates who are keen to build a career in ERP development and would like to work on Odoo — customizing modules, building business workflows, and integrating backend systems for our client projects, while growing under the guidance of senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and customizing Odoo ERP modules based on business requirements.
• Work with Odoo's ORM, XML views, and workflows to build and modify business logic.
• Build and consume REST APIs and integrate external systems with Odoo.
• Work with PostgreSQL databases and data-processing workflows.
• Write readable, testable, and maintainable Python code.
• Troubleshoot application and integration issues.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, frontend, QA, and project teams.
• Document technical solutions and contribute to engineering standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–6 months of hands-on experience or internship exposure in Python development.
• Strong interest in learning and working with the Odoo ERP framework.
• Good understanding of Python fundamentals, OOP, and data structures.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
• Basic working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Good Git, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred / Good to Have
• Basic exposure to the Odoo framework, modules, or ORM.
• Familiarity with XML, HTML, and PostgreSQL.
• Docker/Linux and cloud platforms.
• Experience integrating ERP, CRM, payment, marketplace, or e-commerce systems.
