QA Engineer-Akinon

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with 2+years of experience to join our growing

team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and

mobile applications through thorough manual and functional testing.

Key Responsibilities:

● Perform functional, regression, and UI testing across web and/or mobile applications.

● Analyze business/functional requirements and design detailed test cases and test scenarios.

● Identify, log, track, and verify defects using bug tracking tools until closure.

● Perform regression testing for every release/build and maintain test documentation.

● Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure quality

delivery.

● Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing.

● Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and other agile ceremonies.

● Prepare test summary reports and provide sign-off for releases.

● Continuously suggest improvements to testing processes and quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

● 2+ years of hands-on experience in manual/functional QA testing.

● Solid understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect life cycle.

● Experience writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans.

● Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or similar).

● Good understanding of API testing (Postman or similar tools) is a plus.

● Basic knowledge of SQL for backend/data validation.

● Exposure to automation testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.) is an added advantage.

● Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

● Good verbal and written communication skills.

● Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
