Senior PHP developer

We are looking for a hands-on Senior PHP / Magento professional who can independently own complex e-commerce

development activities while providing technical guidance to the development team. The candidate should have strong

backend development skills, Magento 2 expertise, and the ability to drive quality and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Magento 2 e-commerce applications.

• Own complex modules, features, integrations, enhancements, and production fixes.

• Translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Perform code reviews and ensure coding standards and best practices.

• Troubleshoot complex application, database, integration, and performance issues.

• Work closely with frontend, QA, project management, DevOps, and business teams.

• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and provide technical guidance.

• Support estimation, technical planning, release activities, and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.

• Strong hands-on PHP development experience.

• Solid hands-on experience with Magento 2.

• Strong understanding of OOP, MVC, MySQL, REST APIs, Git, and web application architecture.

• Experience debugging and resolving production issues.

• Ability to independently take ownership of technical deliverables.

• Good communication and team leadership skills.

• Preferred / Good to Have

• Adobe Commerce experience or Magento certification.

• Docker, Linux, Redis, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, or CI/CD.

• Experience with payment, shipping, ERP, CRM, or third-party integrations.
